CHEMICAL NAME PAPAIN/UREA OINTMENT.
INDICATIONS Accuzyme is an enzyme and emollient combination used on the skin to clean wounds and remove dead tissue. It may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
DIRECTIONS Apply directly to wound after dressing changes, as directed. Accuzyme is for skin use only. Do not allow the product to contact your eyes. Follow all instructions for proper wound care and use of this product. Consult your doctor or pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS A burning sensation or irritation of the skin may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS Tell your doctor your medical history, including: any allergies.
OVERDOSAGE If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
INFORMATION Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. If using this medicine for an extended period of time, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
