INDICATIONS
Docu Liquid Stool Softener Laxative
Stool Softener. Used for prevention of dry, hard stools.
INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients:Docusate Sodium 50 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:Citric Acid D&C Red No. 33 Methylparaben Poloxamer Polyethylene Glycol Propylene Glycol Propylparaben Sodium Citrate Vanillin Purified Water.
DIRECTIONS
Usual daily dose: Must be given in a 6 oz to 8 oz glass of milk or fruit juice or in infant's formula to prevent throat irritation. Infants and children under 3 years of age: As prescribed by a physician. Children 3 to 6 years of age: 2 mL one to three times daily. For retention or flushing enemas: Add 5 to 10 mL (1 to 2 tsp) of liquid to the enema fluid. The effect of liquid on the stools may not be apparent until 1 to 3 days after the first oral dose.
WARNINGS
Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. As with any drug, pregnant or nursing women should seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
