PEDi-DRi(Nystatin) is an antifungal used to treat athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Follow the directions for using PEDi-DRi(Nystatin) provided by your doctor. Clean the affected area with soap and water and dry thoroughly. Sprinkle on enough medicine to cover the affected area. Do not cover with a bandage or dressing unless directed otherwise by your doctor. Wash your hands immediately after using this medicine. Store this medicine at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. To clear up your infection completely, continue using this medicine for the full course of treatment. Do not miss any doses.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose of this medicine, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
No common side effects have been reported with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes or on the inside of your nose and mouth.
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. If using this medicine for an extended period of time, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
