Tri-Vi-Flor is a nutritional supplement used to add vitamins and fluoride to your diet.
Follow the directions for using Tri-Vi-Flor Drops provided by your doctor. You may drop the dose of this medicine directly into the mouth or mix it with cereal, juice, or other foods or liquids before taking. It is best to take this medicine after brushing your teeth. This medicine may be taken with food if it upsets your stomach. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.g., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness. Take fluoride several hours apart from such products and foods. Store this medicine in the original plastic container that it came in. Check the bottle of this medicine or with your pharmacist to see if your brand needs to be shaken before use or refrigerated after opening.
MISSED DOSE:If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
No side effectes have been reported with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
Do not take more of this medicine than recommended. KEEP THIS MEDICINE out of the reach of children.
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, excessive salivation, tingling, loss of sense of balance, weakness, and seizures.
Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. If using this medicine for an extended period of time, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
