MANUFACTURER VIGEL USA.
INDICATIONS VIGEL is a nonprescription, topical gel that is applied directly to the clitoral area to enhance libido and stimulate orgasmic pleasure. VIGEL is made for ALL women: from those who have experienced a loss of sexual desire to those who wish to become multi-orgasmic.
VIGEL contains two main ingredients: L-Arginine and Peppermint These key ingredients are responsible for enhancing female arousal. Specifically, L-Arginine causes the production of Nitric Oxide which increases blood flow to the area, while Peppermint intensifies the sensitivity with a delightful tingling sensation. The 1998 Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology was awarded for the discovery of the Nitric Oxide pathway, which is the basis for clitoral erection.
VIGEL is the ONLY product on the market that contains these two key ingredients responsible for feminine sexual arousal. It is a sterile, pharmaceutical grade product manufactured to the strictest specifications.
TWO CLINICAL TRIALS: PROOF that VIGEL WORKS
Study #1: The results of one clinical study indicated a significant improvement in the subjects' level of desire and overall satisfaction.
This double-blind, placebo-controlled study included 93 women aged 22-73 who enrolled as participants lacking sexual desire. Fourty-six (46) of the women received L-Arginine, while the remainder 47 received a placebo. The participants used a Female Sexual Function Index Questionnaire to rate their level of sexual health before starting the study and after taking either a placebo or the L-Arginine.
After four weeks, 62 percent of the active group reported significantly improved satisfaction with their overall sex life, and 64 percent reported an improvement in their level of sexual desire.
Study #2: This study was conducted on post-menopausal women with Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD). The study was designed to determine the effects on vaginal blood flow and sexual arousal of L-Arginine on physiological responses to erotic stimuli in post-menopausal women who had experienced FSAD for at least six months.
The study was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, three-way crossover clinical trial. Patients included 23 post-menopausal women who met DSM IV Criteria for FSAD. The results of the Vaginal Photoplethysmography showed a rapid and significant increase in Vaginal Pulse Amplitude Response (i.e the subjects' degree of sexual stimulation) after the L-Arginine was administered as compared to the placebo group.
The study demonstrated that the mechanism responsible for the increase in sexual arousal was the body's enhanced production of Nitric Oxide due to the administration of L-Arginine.
