Kotex security Tampons are available in:Regular,super and superplus.6-9 grams absorbed regular.9-12 grams absorbed Super and 12-15 grams absorbed Super Plus.These absorbency ranges and their corresponding terms are required to be used by all tampon manufacturers to indicate the amount of fluid absorbed using a standard laboratory test. Use the standardized absorbency ranges and terms to make comparisons between tampons of all manufacturers. Choose the minimum absorbency necessary to control your menstrual flow in order to reduce the risk of contracting TSS.
INGREDIENTS
Polypropylene Cover, Rayon, Polyester, or Cotton String.
DIRECTIONS
1.To insert tampon, find a comfortable position, either sitting (knees apart) or standing with one foot elevated.
2.Pull on strings to make sure they are firmly attached.
3.Place the tip of the applicator into the vaginal opening and gently glide it toward your lower back.
4.Continue easing the applicator in until you've inserted as far as the ring of the outer insertion tube.
5.When the rings of the applicator are together, the tampon is inserted. Gently withdraw the applicator and dispose. Do not flush down the toilet.
6.To remove tampon, relax and pull on string at same angle as tampon was inserted. You should change tampon at least every four to six hours. Remove each tampon before inserting fresh one. Remember to remove last tampon at end of period.
7.If you have difficulty removing the tampon, consult your physician or clinic for assistance.

Important Information About Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS).Sudden fever (usually 102 degrees or more), vomiting, diarrhea, fainting or near fainting when standing up, dizziness, or a rash that looks like sunburn can all be warning signs of a rare but serious illness, Toxic Shock Syndrome ("TSS"). This illness can cause death. Should these symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a physician immediately. You should also consult a physician before using tampons if you have had TSS warning signs in the past.Studies indicate that higher absorbency tampons increase the risk of contracting TSS; therefore, we suggest you use tampons with the minimum absorbency needed to control menstrual flow in order to reduce the risk of contracting TSS.
