INDICATIONS
NutriVent Complete Nutrition for Pulmonary Patients is a liquid formula designed to reduce CO2 production in pulmonary patients. NutriVent contains a balanced high-fat profile, which includes MCT and canola oil in a desirable ratio to improve tolerance.Balanced fat profile for GI tolerance.
Low carbohydrate formulation (27% of calories) to reduce respiratory quotient.
High MCT content (40% of total fat) to minimize fat intolerance, desirable n6:n3 ratio of 4:1.
High calorie (1.5 kcal/mL) to meet elevated energy requirements in a low volume.
High protein content (18% of total kcal) to support lean body mass.
Unflavored is isotonic (330 mOsm/kg H2O) to improve tolerance.
Elevated phosphorus content (120% RDI) to replenish low serum phosphorus concentrations.
Ready-to-use cans and prefilled, non-air-dependent UltraPak Enteral Closed System require no mixing or diluting.
Meets or exceeds 100% of the RDI for 20 key vitamins and minerals in 1000 mL (1500 kcal).
