INDICATIONS
Dual action: Reduces diarrhea symptoms while replacing lost fluids. CeraLyte is a fast-acting, scientifically developed rice-based electrolyte drink which helps prevent or correct dehydration from diarrhea. Rice-based electrolyte solutions have been shown to more quickly and effectively reduce the volume and duration of diarrhea, and to promote early recovery. Gluten free. Drink CeraLyte to replace fluids lost during diarrhea or vomiting, rather than juices, soft drinks, sports drinks or water alone, as oral electrolytes are recommended to restore fluid and minerals and cell function.
INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients:Per Packet (Reconstituted): Sodium 14 mEq, Potassium 4 mEq, Citrate 6 mEq, Chloride 12 mEq, mOsm 235, Carbohydrate 8 g, Sodium Chloride 440mg, Potassium Chloride 260 mg, Trisodium Citrate 378 mg, Rice Syrup Solids, Sucralose, Natural and Artificial Flavors.
DIRECTIONS
Briskly stir while pouring 1 packet of CeraLyte powder (10 g) into 7 oz (200 mL) of clean drinking water. Continue stirring until fully dissolved. Discard any unused portions after 24 hrs. Drink enough CeraLyte to replace the fluid lost. Take after each episode until diarrhea stops. Best results are achieved when taken with food. Use under medical supervision. If diarrhea is severe or prolonged, consult your physician immediately.
