Glutose45 is oral glucose gel containing 40% dextrose (d-glucose), the kind of sugar your body most readily absorbs. Concentrated Sugar for treating Insulin reactions. Other kinds of sugar found in candy and commercial food products may take longer to work because it take time for them to break down in your digestive system.
Easy to use. The twist-off tip is easy to open in an emergency. Just squeeze the tube and Glutose45 flows into your mouth. Glutose 45 is a gel -- so it's easier to swallow than tablets.
No mess. Glutose45 won't burst in your pocket or purse like foil packets can. The directional tip places Glutose45 in your mouth. It won't end up on your hands or face and won't cause cuts or abrasions.
Agreeable taste. Glutose45 has a sweet lemon flavor and contains no artificial colors.
INGREDIENTS
Purified Water, Dextrose (d-glucose) USP 40%, Glycerin, Lemon Flavoring, Preservatives in an oral gel base.
DIRECTIONS
To treat an insulin reaction before unconsciousness occurs: Turn red tip counter clockwise to open. Put dispenser tip to mouth and slowly squeeze in one dose (15 grams of glucose). See dosage measurements on side of tube. Swallow. Turn tip clockwise to close. If no response within 15 minutes, repeat dosage. If no response within 30 minutes, contact physician or healthcare provider.
WARNINGS
FOR ORAL USE ONLY. Do not administer to any person who is unconscious or unable to swallow.
Not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Keep out of reach of children.
CAUTION: Sealed in clear plastic blister. Do not use if blister is opened or damaged.
