Instructions for Use:
The Softclix Lancet Device uses Softclix lancets to obtain a drop of blood from the fingertip. The penetration depth can be selected to match any type of skin.
Selecting the Depth of Penetration:
The Softclix device penetration depth may be adjusted by using the Comfort Dial feature. The depth of penetration should enable you to get a well-rounded, hanging drop of blood. The Softclix device offers six different penetration depth options. The penetration depth is 0.7 mm at level 1 and increases by 0.3 mm with each level. They are shown on the cap by the numbers 1 to 6.
To select a desired depth, move the arrow to the corresponding number.
If you are using the Softclix device for the first time, start by selecting 1 or 2 to see if the amount of blood obtained is enough to perform a test.
Select a new depth of penetration by turning the front part of the cap. The cap will snap into a new position preventing any accidental change of the penetration depth.
