INDICATIONS Corticaine Cream Relieves itching associated with minor skin irritations. A corticosteroid used to reduce itching, redness, and swelling associated with many skin conditions.
INGREDIENTS Active Ingredients:Hydrocortisone 0.5%. Inactive Ingredients:Glyceryl Stearate, Light Mineral Oil, Methylparaben, Peg Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Edetate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sorbic Acid, Steareth 20, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Water (Purified) And White Petrolatum.
DIRECTIONS For adults and children 2 years of age and older: Apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 2 years of age: Do not use, consult a physician. Directions for external anal itching: Adults: When practical, cleanse the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly. Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before application of this product. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a physician.
WARNINGS If your symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse, check with your doctor. Do not use this medicine longer than the time prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other skin conditions at a later time. Do not get this medicine in your eyes. If this medicine was prescribed to treat the diaper area of a child, avoid using tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants.
For women: if you plan on becoming pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. It is unknown if corticaine medicine is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
