CHEMICAL NAME UREA.
INDICATIONS Keralac(Urea) is an emollient used to treat a variety of skin and nail conditions, including dry skin, eczema, corns, or calluses. This medicine may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
DIRECTIONS Use Keralac(Urea) Cream exactly as directed on the package, unless instructed differently by your doctor. Apply a small amount of Keralac(Urea) Cream to the affected area. Gently rub medicine in until it is evenly distributed. Wash your hands immediately after using this medicine unless your hands are part of the treated area. Store this medicine at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. MISSED DOSE: If you miss using a dose of this medicine for 1 or more days, there is no cause for concern. If your doctor recommended that you use it, try to remember your dose every day.
SIDE EFFECTS May occur while using this medicine include stinging, burning, itching, or irritation. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. An allergic reaction to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS Do not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes or on the inside of your nose or mouth. Check with your doctor before applying to infants. Apply with caution on face or on broken or inflamed skin. For women: if you plan on becoming pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. It is unknown if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
OVERDOSAGE If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
INFORMATION Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
