INDICATIONS
Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
 
DIRECTIONS
Take Vitaplex Plus Tablets as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
SIDE EFFECTS
Multivitamins may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS
Before taking Multivitamins, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.g., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies). If your particular brand of multivitamin also contains folic acid, be sure to tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have a vitamin B12 deficiency (pernicious anemia) before taking it.
OVERDOSAGE
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
