INDICATIONS Folgard OS is a vitamin combination used to supplement the diet. Folgard OS may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
DIRECTIONS Follow the directions for using Folgard OS provided by your doctor. Take Folgard OS Tablets with food or milk unless your doctor tells you otherwise. If you miss taking a dose of this Folgard OS, there is not cause for concern. If your doctor recommended that you take it, try to remember your dose every day.
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include diarrhea, constipation, or stomach upset. It they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any numbness, burning, or tingling. An allergic reaction to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing.
PRECAUTIONS Do not take Folgard OS Tablets if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. Folgard OS Tablets contains soybean oil. If you are allergic to soy products, check with your doctor before taking this medicine. BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENTS, EMERGENCY CARE, OR SURGERY, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using this medicine. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over the counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any medicines containing vitamins or minerals (such as vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, or phosphorous), or antacids. DO NOT TAKE large doses of vitamins (megadoses or megavitamin therapy) while taking this medicine unless directed to by your doctor. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. SOME OF THE INGREDIENTS IN THIS MEDICINE ARE EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
OVERDOSAGE If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately..
